Johan Snöfeldt

Johan is working out of RoastingHouse studios and is one of the few creators in RoastingHouse producing & writing both Metal/Rock and Pop music on a daily basis for RoastingHouse Music’s clients. Johan grew up in Jönköping in the southern part of Sweden and found the love for music at quite a young age, especially for Metal & Rock. He studied music production for two years at Musikinstitutet in Jönköping Sweden and then also found a passion for writing & producing all kinds of Pop music.

Johan’s interest in music started out with listening to bands like Metallica and Slipknot, he then started taking courses on his main instruments drums and guitar. After a couple of years of banging the drums and shredding the guitar he then moved on to producing and got very interested in pop music after hearing artist’s like Post Malone and The Weeknd. Johan now works mainly with producing/mixing metal and writing/producing pop music.

The broad love for music I have is hard to place in just one genre of music, I guess that’s why I work in so many different genres such as Metal and Indie-Pop. In Metal, my style of producing/mixing is all about hard hitting drums, vocals and heavy guitars. For me it’s suppose to feel like you’re getting punched in the face by every single band member! Even when just listening in your AirPods on the bus. But sometimes soft drums and guitars is of course all you need for some styles of Rock & Metal. For pop I just love simplicity, a simple structure, great percussion & melodies and a catchy topline. Everything’s just suppose to glue together in a beautiful way which is I guess my strongest attribute when it comes to pop music.

My musical ID contains acoustic sounds, smooth yet hard hitting drums, catchy melodies and beautiful environments with pads, synthesizers & guitars to name a few.
