I started writing and producing my own material in my early twenties and my main instrument is the guitar but I also play the piano. I grew up with a lot of different styles that influenced me, from big band jazz to orchestral scores and film music so I try to be as limitless as possible when it comes to working in different genres. When I’m producing it’s important that the production needs to be something that grabs the listener and weather it is a riff, a rythm, the energy or the sound will be different for each listener. To me Pro Tools is the best DAW to edit and mix but when working with midi and scoring film Logic Pro is my main DAW.
Other than those I use libraries such as EastWest Symphonic Orchestra Platinum, EastWest RA, Vienna orchestral libraries, NI Kontakt. Instruments: Ibanez RG570, Washburn acoustic and a M-Adio keystation 88. Currently I use the digi002 for both ProTools and Logic Pro. I also work in Studio 1 as a producer/engineer and anyone can book the studios, I also do field recordings as a mobile recording engineer so there are possibilities for that as well.
