Johanna Elkesdotter

Already as a child Johanna’s passion for singing, writing and performing started. She has always loved to entertain and could even as a five year old girl spellbind the audience with her heavenly voice and charisma. And as a little child she also started to write songs for her friends and family and entertained with her own material at different streetconcerts. She has a genuine background with musicals, dinner shows, theatre and studio recordings. Johanna has also been performing with and backing up several successful artists such as Arash, Basshunter, Carola, DJ Encore, Günther & TheSunshineGirls to name a few.

Johanna has released one album in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Sweden and USA together with her rockband Bloom where she wrote the songs together with Fredrik “Samson” Larsson. Their music has been heard in TV shows like The Hills, Exiled and in a movie called “In my sleep”. She also released an album , “Unique” with Dj Encore , which was released in 2008 in the US territory.

During the last year Johanna Elkesdotter has been working on her own solo album. She writes/produces her songs together with Anderz Wrethov and Denniz Jamm. With a combination of pop, dance, RnB and club music together with strong melodies and Johanna’s amazing voice she has created her own unique sound. She was noticed while working on her own album to be able to write for other artists as well and is now part of our team of writers here at the studios.

-I´m a very broad musiclover! With a passion for GREAT music! My passion is something I bring in to the songwriting. I´m influenced by all genres; pop, rock, country, hard rock, r´n´b, acoustic, dance, house,club. Anything that has a great vibe, feeling, and atmosphere.

-Singing, writing and performing is like a perfect three part harmony in my life!
