Anders Grahn

Anders has been writing songs since the age of 10 when the career as a live musician kicked off as lead singer in “Thunder Boys” - a group consisting of three ten year olds with a fetish for music from the 60’s & especially The Beatles.

The strong influences from The Bealtes, and the 60’s brit pop, is something you still can recognize in Anders songwriting, even if the field of influencial artists and genres has grown a lot wider through the years.
Anders is known to write songs mostly in the styles of pop, rock & acoustic, often with a “less is more”- feel to it, and always with a great sense for strong melodies.

Toghether with writer/producer Alexander Holmgren, Anders have written and released two albums worldwide with the group “CLARK”, where Anders plays lead guitars and is the co-lead singer together with Alex.

Apart from being a songwriter Anders has worked for many years as a full time musician, primarily as guitar player for artists like:
Percy Sledge, Micke Rickfors, Nanne Grönvall, Barbro “Lill-Babs Svennson, Sonja Aldén, Ace of Base, Lasse Berghagen, Owe Törnqvist, Shirley Clamp, Hasse Andersson, Dan Hylander & many more.

- after playing live for so many years with such a variety of artists, styles & genres, I feel it’s given me both perspective and advantage in my career as musician and as songwriter . It has definitely made it easier for me to naturally widen myself when I write.

Anders has apart from CLARK released songs with artists like Maja Gullstrand (Swe) & “TRAX” (SMTOWN, Korea) and soon to be released song with Asher Lane (Germany).
For three years now Anders has produced about seven songs a year for the Japanese “PUNK IT” compilations. Back to writers page
