Anders Grahn
I’m Anders Grahn – Writer in studio 7, Roasting House.
Thanks for stopping by! Here’s a few words about me.
I’ve been singing, playing and writing songs for as long as I can remember.
Growing up, The Beatles caught my first attention, and I still consider them to be my greatest inspiration when it comes to toplining and song crafting in general.
I love to collaborate with other writers and artists, no matter their style of choice.
I always wanna try new things, and I enjoy working with contrasts. I don’t believe there is such a thing as right or wrong when it comes to making music, and if there is such a thing, I definitely, as often as I can, wanna go the ”wrong” way to see where that leads.
Safe is boring.
With your mind outside the box – there are no limitations to what you can do or where you can go.
In music – and in life.
My DAW is Cubase 6,5 on FROST ACM Audio Computers. UAD 2 Duo.
SE Electronics, Sennheiser and Shure microphones. Joe Meek and Mindprint preamps along with various plug-ins and software synths including Native Instruments Komplete series, IK Multimedia T-Racks 3 DeLuxe and EZ-Drummer. All sounding good from my ADAM – A7X monitors.
I’ve also got a great set up of guitar gears including Fender Telecaster, Fender Jazz bass,
Gibson Gold Top, Ibanez Acoustic. Levin mandoline.
I have cuts in the US, UK, Japan, Korea, Sweden, Germany and Norway.
Apart from being a songwriter I also work as a freelance musician, primarily as a guitar player, for several international and national artists – in and outside of Sweden.
