Jafet Jay Samson

RoastingHouse Records are proud to present our new artist, Jafet Jay Samson. Jay is a talented recording artist, entertainer and songwriter from Sweden, with roots from Eritrea. Jay started his music career at an early age and since then he’s been performing in several cities in Europe. He’s also been performing on Swedish national TV, radio and much more. We are currently working on his debut album. Stay tuned !

Andreas Stone (aka Andreas Johansson) debut album is released today through RoastingHouse Records. We are very proud to be presenting our own songwriter Andreas singing and performing his own material. It’s also a journey of the wonderful cowrites he’s had the pleasure of being part of, wonderful songwriters grown to be friends. Dimitri Erlich, Matthew Pucket, Madeline Stone, Randy Goodrum, Jeff Franzel, Jennifer Adan and some long time friends like Anders Grahn and Tomas Cederholm… The album is produced by Andreas and most of the songs mixed by Anders “Theo” Theander and is a perfect blend of pop and country music, with a voice that touches your soul. Lin Yu Chun released his new album worldwide last week, including the song “Good isn’t good enough” by Andreas Johansson and Vince Degiorgio from Chapter 2 Publishing. Lin Yu Chun is also known as Jimmy Lin and became a You Tube sensation with his version of “I will Always Love You” and several other “big voice” songs and appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, America’s got Talent as well as Lopez Tonight in the US. “Endlessly” is his 2nd full album.

The work with CLOUDSCAPE forthcoming 4th album entitled “New Era” is now finished! The band offers a strong, melodic album and probably their best to date. NEW ERA was produced by Micko Twedberg, mixed by Micko Twedberg together with Anders “Theo” Theander, mastered by Anders “Theo” Theander, who also is executive producer, all done at ROASTINGHOUSE STUDIOS. The sound is strong, organic and perfect for the songs, and all involved is really eager to present “New Era” to the fans and metal community all over the world. J-Pop master Camp !

Yesterday was the final day of our J-pop Master Camp 2011. We would like to thank all fellow publishers involved and all the amazing songwriters who worked from early morning to late at night with such a great spirit and enthusiasm. A great collaboration between Japan, Sweden, Germany, Finland and UK publishers towards the Japanese pop artists arranged by RoastingHouse & Soundgraphics.

This week Anders Grahn attended the olé pop/urban writing camp at the world famous Westlake Studios in Los Angeles. A great selection of top writers and artists connected for 5 days of intense songwriting together with visits from A&Rs of US top labels. Sauruxet from Finland is a melodic metal band with 5 dinosaur members touring the country, performing in front of stunned kids singing along to the metal sound and big choruses ! They entered the album charts at No 2 this week ! The dinosaurs got some expert help from our writers on 4 songs of the album !
