Yesterday Kumi Kodas album “Japonesque” (Rhythm Zone) was released and went straight into the Japanese daily album charts ! We congratulate our writer Martin Svensson for his track “Interlude Japonesque” !
Sauruxet from Finland is a melodic metal band with 5 dinosaur members touring the country, performing in front of stunned kids singing along to the metal sound and big choruses ! They entered the album charts at No 2 this week ! The dinosaurs got some expert help from our writers on 4 songs of the album !
When Japanese pop artist Nana Tanimura released her “Best” album in August they also cut a few brand new tracks and “Gimme Mo” (Wrethov/TJ Mixx/Tanimura) was chosen to be the single and video to promote it. The album entered on the Oricon album charts top 20 chart.
Super Junior’s new album “Mr Simple” was released in their home country Korea in August and all Asian countries will follow as they are one of the top selling artists in Asia. The song “Feels good” (Denniz Jamm/Qwan aka Daniel Arvblom) is included in the album with spectacular artwork in the shape of vinyl LP format ! The album went No 1 in Korea and was actually No 6 in the Global charts the same week. The album is also available in an alternative version with different artwork.
Congratulations to Andreas Johansson for his cowrite track “Always” (Dyce Taylor/Andreas Johansson) on the new Arashi album “Beautiful World” which is not only the best selling album in Japan this week, it’s also the best selling album in the world !!! Great job everyone !!
The No 1 single in Japan “Over” (Devante/Cederholm/Lindfors) goes platinum (250 000) in the first week of sales being the best sold single of the band so far ! Congratulations to everyone involved !
And another No 1 single in Japan for Kat Tun “Ultimate Wheels” as well as being No 25 in the world charts ! Congratulations again to the band and the happy co-writers Johansson/Wrethov !
We’re happy to announce that “Change UR World” went straight up to No 1 in the first week !
Smokie entered the Norwegian album charts last week at No 17 and this week it climbed to No 11 ! The band is currently touring in Australia so hopefully they will enter the charts there as well !
Smokie’s new album “Take a minute” first released territory is Denmark and the album went straight up to No 6 in the album sale charts ! Congratulations to Amir, Robin and Maciel for their song contribution “Nothing hurts (like a broken heart)” !
