July 14th, 2010 by TheoToday we received 3 holds. “After The Rain” (Anders Grahn/James Flannigan) on hold for a up coming German artist has had a top 14 Single Hit in DE already. “Don’t Break My Heart” (Alexander Holmgren/Anderz Wrethov/Carl Utbult) and “The Weekend” (Mans EK/Anders Grahn) both on hold for a Chinese artist signed to a major independent label in Japan. Fingers crossed for the cuts!!!!

July 14th, 2010 by TheoI’ve just finished the song, “How The Hell” with the band STONE AD. I’ll continuing with the third song this afternoon. I also picked up the mixes for the video game, Rock Band. It’s CLOUDSCAPE’s “Mind Diary” but I have some problems with the session, all keyboard tracks are missing!!!!!!! I have a back up HD at home so I’ll search for the files on that one. I also made a back track mix for the song, “After The Rain”. It’s on hold for a up coming artist in Germany 
!!! They will try the song tomorrow, wish them good luck!

July 12th, 2010 by TheoI’ve started to mix the second song, “How The Hell” after receiving great feedback from the band on the first song. I must say that I’m struggling in the heat, it’s to warm to be creative so it’s time consuming just thinking of ideas…………;-(, but I’m getting there!
Cloudscape/Wedding/Full Force
July 12th, 2010 by TheoThis Saturday I was invited to see CLOUDSCAPE and FULL FORCE live at The Tivoli in Helsingborg and during the show Mike (lead vocals in both bands) married his wife on the stage. The gig was awesome from both bands and the wedding was a great happening with many emotions both on stage and in the crowd.

July 7th, 2010 by TheoYesterday we recorded the drum tracks for the song the young producers will work on. Today we’ve put the bass, guitars and key’s down. The purpose with this session is to learn three young guys some tips and tricks through the whole process of a recording and mix session to make their life easier, it took me 20 years to be the producer I’m today. These young guys don’t have to hustle around with the old analogue equipment the rest of us had to go through, lucky them .

July 5th, 2010 by TheoAfter the usual Monday check of all mails from the weekend I started the mix of STONE AD’s song, “No Wings”. I’ll not be able to finish the mix until later this week be cause I have a new project coming in tomorrow. It’s three young producer I’m giving a class about producing and engineering. It’s the second time they are here so I’m stepping it up a notch or two .

July 2nd, 2010 by TheoToday I’ve started to edit the drums and guitars preparing for the mix. I’m confident that it’ll be a great sounding production. My aim is to capture the band’s own sound and merge that into my opinion of the sound to complete the end result.
