Office/S1 & S4
March 17th, 2010 by TheoUsual office tasks done today and then I’ve spent some time helping Andreas Johansson in Studio 4 with his monitoring placing absorbents and checking for bass roundness in the studio room. We’ve found the trouble spots and I’m sure Andreas will have a great “sound” soon. This afternoon I’ve worked on MOLE’s “Wedding Song”. I’ve received some new string files so I added them into the mix but I’m not there yet, hopefully tomorrow.

March 16th, 2010 by TheoYesterday was the usual work with all the mails from the weekend.
I also finished up the pre production on FEJD’s album listening through
the last 3 of 11 demo tracks checking the arrangements, tempo, harmonies etc. I’m thrilled to start working with the band and they will arrive this Sunday. Today I had a production meeting with three bands that are involved in a music project, RBMP. They will record a full length album here at RoastingHouse Studio 1. I’ll start the production in the end of April. Also made some important phone calls this afternoon regarding the release of THREE, it’s all about the coordination.

March 14th, 2010 by TheoYesterday just before we went for the festival we found a really nice Argentinian restaurant and we had the Entrécote and it was fantastic! Then we left for the festival but the good times are after the show when the party begins 
. Everyone involved where there and we meet with many of them. We came back to our hotel by 2.30 and went to bed after a great evening.Today after we checked out we took a walk in the center of Stockholm and at the moment we are relaxing in a cafe and we’ll leave for our train back to good old Malmö in an hour.

I which they asked us for some Hardcore and Metal tracks be cause that’s the mode I’m in with all the industrial sounds around the office today…..

March 10th, 2010 by TheoThis week we had two Japanese song writers, Taka and Shogo at our studios. They wrote with Alex, Anders, Robin and Andreas and they’ve composed six songs in total, very good job guys!
