November 24, 2008 - ROASTINGHOUSE MUSIC
Songwriter/producer Alexander Holmgren just returned from a songwriters camp in Tokyo. Alexander is also currently producing tracks and writing songs for the Japanese band WHITE JAM. The band’s first single “Bounce to the beat” was released Oct 30, 2008.

Tomorrow is the release party of MOLE’s debut album “Ready to go” and the venue is STORAN in Gothenburg which is the home town of the band. The band will be playing live and lots of people invited, so good luck guys !

Anderz Wrethov and Erik Lidbom is actually competing for the best selling single of 2008 with ARASHI in Japan right now – Anderz with ”How to fly” on the ”One love” single and Erik with ”Smile” on the ”Truth” single. Both singles have past 460 000 copies in sales. May the best man win !!!

Once again a successful co-write from our writers, Anderz and Youth Case’s song “How to fly”, featured on the “One love” single was last week No 1 in the Japanese single charts with ARASHI (J-Storm). Anderz has just returned from a co-writing session in Japan where he spent one week writing with the latest top songwriters of Japan. He also spent a few days in a CH!IPZ writing camp this spring for the next coming album and did a great job, we will tell you the details as soon as we are allowed… ;-) 		Anderz Wrethov

RoastingHouse Records, Malmo, Sweden just came back from a label signing ceremony in London.

Shanghai Synergy Culture & Entertainment Group SSCEG led by Shanghai Municipal Committee of CPC and People’s government and a-Peer Management Holding Group LLC signed label deals with RoastingHouse Records and the German classical music company Unlimited Media Gmbh for China and Taiwan. The Legendary UK manager Peter Jenner widely known for managing Pink Floyd, and a long-time Chinese music industry advisor signed an international consultancy deal. Peter also received a lifetime long Chinese working permit, as a gift for his great achievements between east and west.

- It’s absolutely fantastic to be part of this, the Chinese government ”opens” up in a broader way for western music. Of course there are some bureaucratic and political hindrance in the way for the development still to be resolved but every part agrees on to multitude western music in China. Erik continues with his successful cooperation with Japan’s best selling artist right now, KAT TUN “Queen of Pirates”. Erik has three songs songs on the album; “Affection” (Lidbom/Soba), “Distance” (Lidbom/Gin.K) and “Our story” (Lidbom/Yamamoto). Congratulations to No 1 in the album charts !

Congratulations to the # 10 position in the single charts in Sweden for “Say my name”, the first single from MOLE ! They sold out the famous STICKY FINGERs club in Sweden last week and head off to Liverpool to perform at the legendary The Cavern Club. This weekend they will do an acustic performace at the ROCKS store in Malmö to continue to promote their new single.

We are happy to announce we have our first Golden Core band in the sale charts of Sweden ! Faithful Darkness “In shadows lies Utopia” entered in the album charts at #41 and is actually the 4th best selling metal album in Sweden right now ! The band is also played on the most important national radio shows like P3 Rock and P3 Rockster. There’s an interview in Close-Up and the band is also featured on the Close-up MySpace-site as “Selected artists”.

We just finished a co-writing week with successful Japanese duo YOUTH CASE. These talented guys wrote the two latest singles of NEWS, a popular Japanese boy band released by Johnny Company. Due to our writers Anderz Wrethov, Alexander Holmgren and Erik Lidbom recent successes in Japan these guys came together and wrote several great songs for 4 productive days.

This weekend no one in Sweden could not have heard about the fantastic saga of FRIDA feat. HEADLINE (Warner Music) who got the “ticket directly to The Globe Arena” in MELODIFESTIVALEN 2008 with their song “Upp och Hoppa” (Anderz Wrethov/Sam Persson/Frida). It’s a fantastic achievement by Frida and Headline who the Swedish audience took to their hearts and voted for instead of established artists who is still very popular with the Swedish people. February 13, 2008 - Erik Lidbom (RoastingHouse Music)
We are happy to announce that Erik Lidbom’s songs “Love” and “Message for you” (japanese titles) are featured on the new KAT-TUN single “Lips” (Johnny Co.)! KAT-TUN is one of Japan’s most successful artists and the expectations are huge. The single (3 versions) was released on February 6, 2008 and we just heard this morning that it’s No 1 in the single charts !!! Congratulations to Erik and Kat-Tun !
